Active Motif Announces Deployment of SeqCruncher™ Accelerators on HP's Proliant Servers and Workstations at ISC 2008

Carlsbad, CA – June 19, 2008

HP (Hewlett-Packard) announces with Active Motif at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC'08) in Dresden, Germany, SeqCruncher accelerators can be deployed on Proliant Servers and Workstations.

Joe Fernandez, CEO of Active Motif, commented, “We released our SeqCruncher™ accelerator for HP Proliant servers and workstations to enable researchers to analyze human genome data thousands of times faster. We can deliver the performance of 1,100 CPU cores in a slim DL380 server, yet our FPGA acceleration technology only draws 45 Watts of power. This makes the TimeLogic genomics appliances ideal for deployment in research and clinical environments.”
